Koguduse õpetaja, piiskop electus Thomas Vaga andis peaaegu aasta aega leeritunde kirjalikult ja lõpuks nädal aega leerilaagris Long Islandi Eesti Kodus. On October 21st three young Estonians from Bergen County and New York St. Paul congregations were confirmed in Lakewood Lutheran Church of Holy Spirit: Linnea Ann Tõõtsov, Lilly Olivia Aasmaa and Markus Truumees. Two other young confirmants were from other congregations. Pastor Vaga had given confirmation lessons to them by mail. An intensive confirmation camp was organized by Lia Mai Puskar at Long Island Estonian Youth Camp ground. The Pastor tested what his students had learned and gave additional teaching. The celebration party for Confirmants took place in Lakewood Estonian House. The photo below was taken by Ulla Vinkman.
